Drum lessons at Evergreen Studio are designed to give the student a deep knowledge of drum fundamentals while also exploring genre specific techniques.
Drawing from extensive experience as a studio drummer and touring musician, Chelsea combines real world application with technical prowess to create lessons that are one of a kind. No matter what style of music the student is interested in, Chelsea can address the theoretical and technical issues needed for the student to succeed.
Chelsea Davis is a Drum/Percussion Instructor and Songwriter/Producer in North Carolina. Originally from Utah, she studied Percussion Performance at Southern Utah University. Her graduating year, she won the Performer of the Year Award after debuting a composition for solo marimba and for composing several percussion ensemble pieces, one of which later debuted at the Northwestern Percussion Festival. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree, she moved to Los Angeles where she pursued a career in music performance and composition. While touring and recording with established and developing acts, she also provided private instruction for artists and other clientele, tailoring each practice session to the individual and their goals. Finally landing in NC in 2020, she continues to write and produce for artists, works on her own projects, and teaches drum instruction.
